There is an intense craze right now on the internet. You have seen the ads, "Get Paid for Taking Surveys". Companies are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars on paid market research. Why would they pay out so much money? Think about it. Finding out a product would never sell in a certain market would cost them far more money than marketing it anyway and wasting triple that amount of money. Can you really get paid for taking surveys?
Well, being the opportunity seeker that I am, I decided to give it a try and sign up for as many free survey sites as I could. In Addition, I paid $ 37 or so to a survey membership service. Be warned. Each and every site has you fill out your personal profile. This can be a daunting task in one sitting. Shortly after you have completed your profile, you will be drowning in email notifications announcing your opportunity to make a little money taking their surveys. The surveys from the membership service did seem to have survey sites that paid a little higher than the free survey sites. Although, I was receiving emails from both. I really had to weed through the emails and decision which were legitimate paid surveys and which ones paid in drawing entries, points, and / or prizes.
The good news is there were numerous offers sent to my inbox. The bad news is a lot of the paid offers had expired or were full before I had an opportunity to participate. So be ready. A lot of your time will be sent searching for the best paid surveys and hiring that they are still open. Ok. Do surveys pay? Yes they do. Some a lot more than others. However, in order to earn money taking surveys you will have to develop your own system of picking out which surveys make money and accept the fact that you will be making far less money getting paid to do surveys than you think.
